We were excited to get involved in designing this innovative MasterCard product for Air New Zealand’s Airpoints program. Beginning with a simple identity for the OneSmart brand itself to fit within the existing Air New Zealand Airpoints framework, Flint Media moved on designing a full suite of cards for the multitiered Airpoints program.

With multiple brands requiring representation on a single piece of plastic that needed to function a both a rewards card and a regular MasterCard, the challenge for Flint Media was to come up with a design that looked unified and appropriately prestigious. Working closely with prepaid solutions provider, Rev, along with MasterCard and Air New Zealand, we were able to defy the conventions of traditional card format and reconfigure the whole layout to ensure the respective brands were elegantly placed in conjunction with mandatory elements such as the signature panel, mag strip and electronic chip.

Flint Media went on to design the associated card collateral and launch communications.
